Piazza San Marco
Described by Napoleon as "the most beautiful salon in Europe." From here you can get to the Doge's Palace and its secret itineraries, the Bridge of Sighs, the Clock Tower and the Correr Museum. Visit St. Mark's Cathedral, climb to the top of the bell tower 'Paron de Casa' and admire the breathtaking view from the top. Now it's time for a well-deserved break at Café Florian, the oldest in the world.
Canal Grande and its palaces
Get on the vaporetto and make yourself comfortable. Enjoy the show of the elegant noble palaces overlooking the Grand Canal, symbols of wealth and magnificence, built with love over the centuries of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.
Rialto
The first settlement in the history of Venice and of course you cannot miss the city's first church, San Giacometo, dated 421. Stroll inside its market surrounded by colors, spices, lagoon fish, herbs and shouts of merchants. Find the statue of the Hunchback of Rialto, used as a podium for official proclamations of the Republic and enunciations of death sentences.
Shopping time!!! Cross the legendary Rialto Bridge to reach the T FONDACO DEI TEDESCHI where you'll find the best of international luxury, but what you'll appreciate most is the view from the rooftop terrace on the top floor.
In the evening Rialto becomes lively and offers opportunities for aperitifs and dinners.
Strolling around...
Venice is a city where you can go out aimlessly and marvel at every step among fascinating palaces, ancient churches, streets and alleys that can reveal its most hidden soul. Head for the Jewish Ghetto (the first in history), the Zattere (don't miss the gianduiotto at gelateria da Nico), Via Garibaldi, Dorsoduro and let yourself be surprised by emotions.
The treasure hunt consists in finding the Scala Contarini del Bovolo and the Corte del Milion (home of Marco Polo).
On the gondola
Gliding on a gondola at the water's edge is an unforgettable experience. The reflections of the palaces, historic bridges and romantic corners tell exciting thousand-year stories of Venice's beauty. In Dorsoduro is still active an impressive squero where gondolas are built in the city... .
Lido di Venezia
Just a 15-minute vaporetto ride from San Marco, you will find the Lido of Venice, the island of Art Nouveau architecture and home to the oldest International Film Festival. Locals truly love Lido's beaches (we recommend Alberoni beach, immortalized by Luchino Visconti in 'Death in Venice'). For a special day, continue with the ferry and have dinner in Pellestrina."
Museums and concerts
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection and Gallerie dell'Accademia are a stone's throw away.
More treasures at Scuola Grande di San Rocco (Tintoretto), Ca' Rezzonico (18th-century Venetian museum), Ca' D'Oro, Museo Correr, Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi (Pinault Foundation).
If music is your passion, La Fenice Theater is 2 minutes away.
